Add a Delphinium Layout to a Course
A Delphinium layout is the framework used to organize Delphinium components for a course. It is Delphinium's user interface for both teachers and students.
The first time Delphinium is loaded, it will scan your course and walk you through options for adding a Delphinium layout to the course. There are four options for adding a Delphinium layout to your course:
Use the default Delphinium layout
This is the preferred method for courses using Delphinium for the first time unless you have a specific Delphinium template you want to use or you want to copy the Delphinium settings from another course
Copy settings from a previous version of the current Canvas course
This is the preferred option when you have copied the Canvas course content from another Canvas course that uses Delphinium (e.g., from a blueprint course, a master copy of the course, the same course from a previous semester, or a different section of the course from the same semester)
Select a Delphinium template
This is the preferred option when you know you want to use some of Delphinium's advanced components, or you want to use a layout created by your organization
Copy the layout from a different course you teach that uses Delphinium
Use this option if the two courses have the same basic design, otherwise you might add Delphinium components that do not work well with your course
Each of these options is described in the links below.
