Accessibility in Delphinium

Creating a Delphinium experience that all students can enjoy is very important us. Towards this end, Delphinium includes the following accessibility features:

  • A WCAG AA compatible color pallet to ensure sufficient contrast in UI elements

  • A keyboard accessible design for all elements of all components

  • Screen reader friendly design that:

    • Supports screen reader navigation

    • Provides alternate data tables to screen readers for graphically dense components

    • Dynamically generates description paragraphs for any possible avatar students can create

    • Encourages alt text for user selected module images
